Fall is officially here and if your RV season is still a go for a few more weeks, make sure to stay cozy and warm!
Check this list of 5 tips to help you and your RV stay warm this fall.
Preventive Maintenance
Just like spring cleaning, fall RV checking is highly recommended after a busy season on the road. Do a sweep and get the more-time consuming repairs out of the way. That includes checking the oil, oil filter, tire pressure, water systems, batteries, etc.
Door and Window Seals
Cool air can sneak in if you have damaged door and/or window seals. Make sure to replace any damaged ones.
Enhance Your RV Interior
Keep your RV interior warm and cozy by installing heavier window curtains, thick rugs, carpet, or insulated floorboards. You can even add fall-themed décor!
Inspect Your RV Furnace
Is your furnace working properly? It is a good idea to have it inspected by a professional as well as add in alternative heat sources and accessories. Don’t forget to bring extra blankets and space heaters.
Be Prepared
The secret to any successful RV trip is to be prepared as much as possible no matter the season. Pack accordingly for the season and weather forecast. Bring extra layers of clothing, sleeping bags, accessories, blankets, and towels.
